I guess that is how they were made. Are they for sale? Could I get a copy of the one from the Talin bicycle show? Maybe someone who saw this would like to trade me something for one? I mentioned to an art friend that I was tempted to give paper cutting a go and she shared a few of these images with me, among others.

Editorial work, on the other hand, is totally different. So I decided to skip all sketching, showing ideas before and explaining what I was about to do. I just decided to go for it to make the final illustration. The idea for the textile parrot was with me a while before the opportunity came. This happens quite a lot—that the idea is with me long before the projects come.
